Ready-to-drink beverages expand to grocery stores as LCBO strike continues

Beginning Thursday, people can purchase ready-to-drink beverages and larger packs of beer at grocery stores. This expanded alcohol sales plan – initially intended to launch Aug. 1 – comes as employees with the LCBO hit the two-week mark in an ongoing strike as they continue to bargain for better worker rights.
