In what they’ve dubbed “Operation Chrome,” Peel Regional Police revealed on Wednesday that last month, they seized 71 illegal firearms – the most seized in the region’s history. Ten suspects were arrested and charged with a combined 185 criminal code offences, too. Additionally, roughly $1 million worth of illegal drugs were seized, according to Peel police executive sergeant Earl Scott.
