After years of wrangling, the transition to the Surrey Police Service is finally moving ahead. The City has accepted the province’s financial offer that it initially rejected earlier this year. As Richard Zussman reports, after 70 years, the RCMP will no longer be Surrey’s police of jurisdiction.
