Closing off his opening remarks at the 75th annual NATO Summit in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, U.S. President Joe Biden invited NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg up to the stage, commending him for 14 years of service to the alliance and surprising him with a Presidential Medal of Freedom. Stoltenberg is set to retire later this year.
