As temperatures continue rising throughout the Halifax area, many people are flocking to nearby beaches to cool off. But new recreational water quality guidelines suggest that Halifax’s municipal beaches might experience more water quality advisories this summer. As Emma Convey reports, instead of increasing beach closures – the city will allow the community to swim at their own risk.
