Britain’s new Prime Minister Keir Starmer promised on Monday to get a better deal with the European Union (EU) on post-Brexit trading rules, saying former prime minister Boris Johnson a “botched” the deal. “We’re not going to be able to get a better relationship unless we demonstrate a commitment to the relationship of the agreements that have already been put in place,” Starmer said.
