Netanyahu dissolves war cabinet as Israeli protests for Hamas peace deal ramp up

The move comes after centrist former general Benny Gantz announced his withdrawal from the body last week. Gantz, who had agreed to join the coalition to form a wartime national unity government in October, claimed that Netanyahu failed to present a post-war plan for the besieged Gaza Strip.
