Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has dissolved the influential six-member war cabinet that was tasked with steering the war in Gaza, an Israeli official said on Monday. The move comes after centrist former general Benny Gantz announced his withdrawal from the body last week. Gantz, who had agreed to join the coalition to form a wartime national unity government in October, claimed that Netanyahu failed to present a post-war plan for the besieged Gaza Strip.
