Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland announced on Tuesday that the Canada Growth Fund will be partnering with Varme Energy in Edmonton to produce clean electricity from waste diverted from landfills. The partnership will create “well-paying jobs for workers across Alberta,” Freeland said.
