Coming on the heels of the release of the National Security and Intelligence Committee of Parliamentarians (NSICOP) report, Conservative MP Andrew Scheer asked the Liberal government during Thursday’s question period if any current sitting Cabinet members were included in that report. While avoiding a yes or no answer, Minister of Public Safety, Democratic Institutions and Intergovernmental Affairs Dominic LeBlanc said the Liberal government takes issues of foreign interference “very seriously.”
