One person has been arrested after pro-Palestinian protesters at the University of British Columbia (UBC) shut down a major intersection at the university for several hours on Wednesday morning. Demonstrators blocked the movement of vehicles as they demanded the university cut all ties with Israeli institutions and divest from companies connected to Israel.
