VPD Constable Tania Visintin and Metro Vancouver Transit Police Constable Amanda Steed both lay out the safety plan for tonight’s Canucks vs Oilers game at Rogers Arena. Police are issuing a warning that drinking alcohol in public or on transit will not be tolerated. Cst. Steed’s message is to “pack your patience” as the crowds will be quite large. She is also reminding everyone that the Oak Meadows viewing station (near Cambie & Oak) is fully accessible by transit.
