A Peterborough off-duty police officer is being credited with helping to save a man’s life following a crash in the city on April 24. The vehicle crashed on Water Street between Argyle and Hilliard Streets. One person was taken to hospital.
Police say the crash was the result of a medical episode. The officer found the driver without vital signs and began life-saving measures as paramedics also soon arrived.
The man was revived and taken to hospital.
