The first Mi’kmaq vendor market was held in Halifax on Sunday, as more than 50 vendors travelled from across the Maritimes to showcase their crafts and products for an event that attracted many attendees from around the city. A by-election date has been announced for the constituency of Pictou West following MLA Karla MacFarlane’s retirement. And in Fredericton, a long-awaited Sunday bus route is expected to debut in June.
