Reacting to the newly-announced 2024 federal budget in the House of Commons on Tuesday, Opposition Leader Pierre Poilievre said that the Conservative Party will vote against the “wasteful, inflationary” fiscal plan. “Like a pyromaniac spraying gas on the inflationary fire that he [Prime Minister Justin Trudeau] lit, it is getting too hot and too expensive for Canadians,” Poilievre said.
