U.S. President Joe Biden spoke on Friday about the progress made thus far in removing debris following the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, Maryland. The president says two small channels have been cleared for essential ships. “The Army corps says by the end of April they’ll be able to open the third channel for some commercial traffic, including car carriers, and by the end of May we’ll open the full channel,” Biden said.
