A Nova Scotia woman has designed an emergency system to alert Mi’kmaq communities throughout Nova Scotia when an individual goes missing. Since its inception, 67 people have been reunited with their families. As Vanessa Wright reports, Jennifer Jesty’s goal is to bring home as many missing Indigenous women and girls as possible.
