On Tuesday, NTSB chair Jennifer Homendy described the incident involving a bridge collapsing after a container ship collided with it in Baltimore early Tuesday morning. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. local time. The Singapore-registered vessel that collided with the bridge is 985 feet long and 95,000 gross tonnes.
