Soup served by Peterborough students to mark World Down Syndrome Day

Thursday was World Down Syndrome Day - aglobal awarness day that has been observed by the United Nations since 2012. To mark it in Peterborough, a group of students served potato bacon soup for lunch at Thomas A. Stewart Secondary School. Led by Ryan Crowe, the students serve lunch every Thursday at the school. The Down Syndrome Association of Peterborough is hosting its annual Lanes of Love Bowl-A-Thon in celebration of World Down Syndrome Day on Saturday, March 23 at Lakeview Bowl.
