University of Calgary researchers say their work has found a link between radon exposure in rural homes based on how close they are to drilled groundwater wells. They say the wells appear to be acting as unintended straws for radon gas deep in the ground. Katherine Ward has this story and more in Health Matters for Feb. 26, 2024.
