Ever since Jayden could walk, he walked and ran on his tippy toes. Jayden had to have serial casts put on both legs for the entire summer to correct his toe walking. They would leave the casts on for two weeks, stretch out his Achilles, and repeat several times. Once they were done with casting, Jayden would have to wear custom AFOs to force him to continue walking flat-footed. Jayden’s dad Jordan applied to Variety for a grant to cover the orthotics and was approved.
