U.S. President Joe Biden on Friday announced hundreds of new sanctions against Russia in retaliation for the death of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny. The U.S. sanctions, which come as the world marks two years since Russia invaded Ukraine, target more than 500 Russian people and entities.
