Surgeries in Lethbridge facing delays

Patients in Lethbridge are waiting months in pain to be seen by a specialist. That’s an issue across Canada, but in southern Alberta, there’s a larger problem from the inside bubbling to the surface. In the final part of this series on the rural doctor shortage, we learn a shortage of anesthesiologists is leading to hundreds of cancelled surgeries. Jaclyn Kucey reports.
