Trudeau, Poilievre clash over Tory campaign manager’s connection to Loblaws

During question period, faced with a question over soaring vehicle thefts, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau switched the focus to Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre’s campaign manager, Jenni Byrne, and her alleged ties to Loblaws. In response, Poilievre said Trudeau was “desperate” and listed several people in Trudeau’s orbit, including his marketing director Max Valiquette, who he said had ties to the grocery giant.
