Speaking during question period on Monday, Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Official Languages Randy Boissonnault slammed Alberta Premier Danielle Smith for her recent controversial policy proposals regarding transgender youth and Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre for not speaking up against Smith’s latest remarks. “The Leader of the Conservative Party claims to talk about freedom. But now he’s showing every Canadian exactly the type of leader he is,” Boissonnault said. “He is the one standing with the bullies. He is the one who is picking on vulnerable people, standing with Danielle Smith, instead of defending the most vulnerable youth in our country.”
