Speaking during question period on Wednesday, NDP leader Jagmeet Singh said that though “serious allegations” against United Nations Palestinian refugee agency (UNWRA) staff need investigation, he also asked why Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was “punishing Palestinian children.” Trudeau responded by saying that Canada support the investigation and that the federal government’s “determination to provide relief” in Gaza “has not changed.”
