Out-of-classroom, hands-on education important for students: Indigenous land-based teacher

Indigenous land-based teacher Tanya McCallum said on Wednesday: “Taking our children out of the classroom, away from technology, on the land, for hands-on experiential education is how our people have learned for thousands of years.”
