As the family doctor shortage worsens across the country, there’s a concerning trend exacerbating the issue. The director of the University of Alberta’s family medicine residency program says many medical students aren’t pursuing the practice. Global News at Noon Edmonton spoke with Dr. Michelle Morros about what’s behind the trend and what it could mean for primary care.
