Drone video shows thousands of dead fish washed up on Japanese shore

December 14, 2023
Thousands of dead fish covered the shores of Hakodate in northern Japan, drone footage showed on Dec. 7. Hakodate city officials said in a statement on Thursday that a large number of sardines and other dead fish had been spotted on a beach in Hamacho, Toi district, adding that the cause of the mass fish deaths was unknown.
