U.S. President Joe Biden urged Congress to pass additional funding for Ukraine before the holiday recess during his speech on Wednesday. “We’re the reason Putin hasn’t totally overrun Ukraine and moved beyond that,” Biden said. He also mentioned that the G7 is prepared to support Ukraine and discussed the importance of defending "every inch" of NATO's territory. He warned of the possibility of "American troops fighting Russian troops" if Russia moves into other parts of NATO.
