In reply to a question about a protester confronting Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at a Vancouver restaurant and calling for an Israel-Gaza ceasefire that went viral earlier in the week, Trudeau said on Friday at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum that “it’s not about me.” Trudeau said that the grief, anger and despair felt by Canadians was “bleeding over” into each other, adding that “We are not a country where Canadians should be scared of other Canadians.”
