Montreal suburban mayors call for increased security in wake of recent shootings at Jewish schools

Mayors of Montreal’s demerged cities are calling on Valérie Plante to do more to address a recent rise in violence connected to the Israel-Hamas conflict. They are calling for increased police patrols around Jewish institutions and say so far the city isn’t doing enough. As Global’s Phil Carpenter reports, the town of Hamsptead has taken matters into their own hands.
