A Tofino man is paying a hefty price for killing two black bears he found in his backyard. The sow and her cub were shot with a longbow and a crossbow in October of 2021. Ryan Millar has been fined $11,000, given a 20-year hunting and weapons ban and sentenced to 30 days in jail.
