Nepal earthquake kills over 150 in remote western region

An earthquake struck the Jajarkot region in western Nepal at 11:47 p.m. local time on Friday, with a 6.4 magnitude, according to Nepal’s National Seismological Centre. Residents in the Himalayan nation’s central western town of Bheri inspected the damage caused to buildings on Saturday, following the country’s worst earthquake in eight years that killed at least 157 people.
