Canada will officially be in a recession if downward data trends continue

Forest fires and drought weighed heavily on the economy in August along with higher interest rates and inflation. The second quarter of the year saw a marginal contraction in GDP and if data shows continued negative growth in September, Canada will meet the definition for a recession. Nivrita Ganguly reports.
