The Cowichan sweater has become an icon of coastal life. They’re hand-knit and have been worn by royalty, presidents, and prime ministers. Now, filmmaker Mary Galloway is taking an all-indigenous crew on a trip through Coast Salish territory to shine a light on the hard-working knitters behind the Cowichan sweater.
