Quebec may join a class action lawsuit against opioid manufacturers and distributors. Social Services Minister Lionel Carmant tabled a bill on Thursday that would allow the province to join a class-action suit led by British Columbia. The province is hoping to seek damages for health care-costs related to opioid use. Global’s Franca Mignacca has the details.
