Liberal Leader Sandy Silver says he is ready to form the territory's next government despite tying with the Yukon Party at eight seats each, short of the 10 needed for a majority.

With all of the votes counted, the Liberal and Yukon parties were tied with eight seats, and the NDP had won two seats, while the final seat is headed to a judicial recount.
