An initiative of the Aga Khan Foundation, the five-kilometre walk has grown in its scale and reach, raising $100 million in more than three decades.

Over 4,000 people packed Prince's Island Park in Calgary for the World Partnership Walk on Sunday.

Hundreds of Calgarians stepped forward in support of the World Partnership Walk at Prince's Island Park Sunday. The walk is in support of fighting global poverty and to be a positive force of change in the world. One of those forces was front and centre on display at the event, after travelling across Canada.
