The Ottawa Hospital is setting up a 55-bed transitional care unit at the West End Villa long-term care home to help alleviate COVID-19 pressures at the local health-care facility.

The West End Villa long-term care home, where 15 residents have died in relation to COVID-19, is now the subject of a class-action lawsuit.
