A shortage of bupropion, or Wellbutrin, could impact as many as 12,000 patients in Saskatchewan.

An Alberta pharmacist says he's having to ration the small supply of Wellbutrin he has left - sometimes giving patients just four pills at a time - trying to ensure everyone stays treated.

The first time Marty MacDonnell injected Wellbutrin he had no idea what else was going into his veins. The popular antidepressant has found its way to the streets and become "the poor man's cocaine."
