Nearly one week after a natural gas well blew near Fox Creek, the damaged wellhead has been brought under control.

Calgary-based natural gas company Encana notified the AER of the blowout Monday. The AER said the well, located 18 kilometres west of Fox Creek, is licensed for hydrogen sulfide.
