The PuSh Festival says it decided to cancel "The Runner" ahead of staging this month after hearing from those who wanted it to go ahead and others who called for its cancellation.

The festival said rising costs and the requirement to pay vendors upfront have left it unable to produce the annual summer event that's run for more than four decades.
