A fourth monolith has been found mysteriously standing on a beach in the United Kingdom, after similar objects vanished from Utah, California and Romania.

Three mysterious monoliths have been found over a three-week span in Utah, Romania and now California.

The Romanian monolith was roughly the same size and shape as the one in Utah, but its surface was covered in crude swirls and other markings.

Utah officials say hikers trampled vegetation and left 'human waste' around the site of the metal monolith, which was found in the desert in mid-November.

Amateur investigators have figured out the location and construction of Utah's mysterious metal monolith, although many questions remain.
