The Calgary Fire Department confirmed that at least 13 empty cars went off the tracks at the crossing of 50 Avenue S.E. and 30 Street S.E. on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Several cars of a freight train derailed near the intersection of 50 Avenue SE at 52 Street in Calgary on Tuesday morning, causing big traffic tie-ups in the area during the morning rush hour.
