The SIU say a man held a dealership employee at gunpoint after fleeing police on Aug. 11. During talks with an officer, the man drank antifreeze. He later died in hospital.

Police say a man appeared to go into medical distress following an interaction with officers in the city's north end on Friday afternoon. The SIU are now investigating.
