Samantha Sannella's son discovered the snake on Thanksgiving while opening a cupboard in the basement of the family's Toronto home.

On Tuesday, officials thought they were reuniting a ball python found in a sewer with its family. But after a night in another snake's digs, it was quickly determined the python was an impostor.
