Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe, Maryland Governor Larry Hogan, and Washington, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bowser urged Ontario to deal directly with local and state leaders in the U.S. as Trump continues to "bluster" about NAFTA talks.

"I am heartbroken that a life has been lost here," Charlottesville Mayor Mike Singer said on Twitter. "I urge all people of good will - go home."
