B.C.'s public safety minster has written to Surrey's mayor and council urging them to read a confidential report then schedule a final vote on whether to keep or scrap the RCMP.

An internal 2022 report took a deep dive into the RCMP's Depot training facility and said reports of a recruitment 'crisis' did not appear exaggerated.
