Nova Scotia has seen a record number of solar panel installations again this year. There are now about 6,000 people in the province with solar panels.

Solar energy expert says Nova Scotia could transition from coal to clean renewable energies like wind and solar by 2030, long before the province plans to close its coal power generation plants.
