Several Alberta homeowners are demanding their money back from an Ontario-based solar company after paying a deposit but not receiving any product or service.

Nova Scotia Power says approximately 650 solar installation permits have been approved since January but 'huge demand' is causing a backlog.

On Monday, Environment Minister Shannon Phillips will announce the incentive program for solar panel installation rebates. The announcement was on the minds of many at the trade show at NAIT on Saturday.
